After the war, Croatia became a founding member and a federal constituent of Second Yugoslavia, a socialist state, with its capital city Zagreb. In June 1991, Croatia declared independence and has thrived and grown into a beautiful vacation spot and wedding destination.

Dubrovnik features many outdoor activities, water sports, including tours of the ancient walls and old town, a cable car adventure with an astonishing view of Fort Imperial, and boat outings for the whole family. Beautiful nature spots like the Island of Lokrum are easily accessible by boat. You certainly will not be bored in this vacation paradise.
