Muse announce supports for European tour

TEIGNMOUTH band Muse are gearing up to tour Europe, and they have now announced the bands they are taking with them.

The European leg of Muse's Drones World Tour kicks off on February 26 in Paris.

Supporting them on the run will be a selection of alternative rock bands. X Ambassadors from America, Nothing But Thieves from Essex, Dutch De Staat and electronic rock duo Phantogram will also be playing at select gigs.

The three-piece outfit, who started writing and recording in Teignmouth in the early 1990s, scooped their second prestigious Grammy award at a star-studded ceremony in Los Angeles earlier this week.

They took home the Grammy for Best Rock Album for their latest effort Drones, which triumphed over competition from James Bay (Chaos and the Chain), Death Cab for Cutie (Kintsugi), Highly Suspect (Mister Asylum) and Slipknot (.5: The Gray Chapter).
