Trafalgar Tours Again Offering Last-Minute Deals

Trafalgar Tours is making a habit of offering last-minute deals too enticing to pass up.

Last month, the tour operator offered a time-sensitive special – trips to Europe with 10 percent off the cost of the trip with the Early Payment Discount (EPD), plus an additional $500 per person flight credit.

This month, an even better deal.

To celebrate the longest reign in the near 1,000-year history of the British monarchy, as well as the upcoming 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II in April, Trafalgar is offering a one-week Britain and Ireland sale.

But you have to move on it since, well, what would a time-sensitive offer be without the time element?

Until Feb. 29, book one trip and get a 30 percent discount for a second guest, plus a $500 airfare credit. And who could give you a better deal, and a better local view, than a tour company named after London's famous Trafalgar Square?

You don't have to travel by Feb. 29, you just need to book before the month – and the deal – expires. Travel dates and itineraries are varied, with trips that depart as early as April 8 or as late as Aug. 20 and include such tours as 'Amazing Britain 2016', 'Wonders of Britain and Ireland 2016', 'Best of Devon and Cornwall 2016', and many more.

England is not just about history – it's about living history, every day. Queen Elizabeth II became the country's longest-reigning monarch in September of 2015 at 63 years and six months on the throne, surpassing her great-great grandmother, Queen Victoria.

Elizabeth II, who will turn 90 on April 21, became Queen on Feb. 6, 1952 when her father, King George VI, died. King George's life and his own unusual ascension to the throne was chronicled in the Oscar-winning film "The King's Speech."

But the savings are the crux of the deal, with some itineraries offering almost $1,500 in costs.

Featured prices are per person, land only, based on double occupancy and subject to availability. The 30 percent second guest discount is based on a 15 percent per-person discount applied to both guests on the booking.
