Arcade Fire fanned the speculation about the release of a new album Monday as the Montreal band announced tour dates in Europe this summer.

The tour kicks off June 3 in Barcelona at the Primavera Sound Festival, then it's off to the Isle of Wight Festival in the U.K. on June 10 followed by 14 more performances, mostly at festivals across the continent. The last dates on the tour are at the City Season Festival in Italy, July 17 in Milan and July 18 in Florence.

The band's been releasing material ahead of the anticipated followup to its fourth album, 2013's Reflektor.

The band made headlines when it released the politically charged single I Give You Power on the eve of U.S. President Donald Trump's inauguration. It features vocals by soul singer Mavis Staples.

And on Jan. 27, fans were treated to a two-DVD set  titled The Reflektor Tapes, a concert film directed by Kahlil Joseph, which premièred at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2015 and includes interviews and downtime with the band.
